So in Domain A- Strategic Planning, we learn about the Phillips ROI Methodology. By measuring the ROI of your meeting, it will help you tangibly provide an answer if your meeting goals and objectives were accomplished. Not all meetings are about making money, and sometimes you want to measure the value. The first step in measurement is determining the appropriate objectives. You must be very clear about why the event is being held and what you hope to accomplish as a result. We must be able to show the value it will bring. According to the Phillips ROI Methodology, you should only measure 5% of your meetings since it can be expensive to gather the necessary data. I personally feel like you should be able to measure all your meetings with the ROI formula by keeping excellent records.
